3. Gathering and storing of personal data as well as the nature and purpose of its use

a) When visiting the website
Upon visiting our website www.mv-ortho.de, information will automatically be sent through the browser – which is used on your device – to the server on our website. This information will be temporarily saved in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without any action on your part, and is saved until automatic deletion:
• IP address of the requesting computer;
• Date and time of access;
• Name and URL of the accessed file;
• Website from which the access was gained (referrer URL);
• Browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer and the name of your access provider.
The mentioned data is processed by us for the following purposes:

• Safeguarding easy use of our website;

• Pursuant to Art. 17 GDRP, to demand the deletion of your personal data stored by us, except for when the processing is for the purpose of exercising the right to freedom of expression and information, for the fulfilment of a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
• Pursuant to Art. 18 GDRP, to demand the limitation of processing of your personal data, provided you contest the correctness of the data, the processing is unlawful, you reject its deletion and we no longer need the data, you still need the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or you have appealed pursuant to Art. 21 GDRP against the processing;
• Pursuant to Art. 20 GDRP, to obtain your personal data, which you have provided us in a structured, conventional and machine-readable format, or to request its transferal to another responsible person;

Via an API, this website uses the mapping service Google Maps. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
